Steven King has been working as a photojournalist for 15 years. During this time he has won numerous awards and been twice named the New England Press Association’s “Photographer of the Year.” In 2003 King joined the Navy Reserve as a photographer; he cut his teeth in public affairs and landed a slot in an exclusive combat camera unit located in Norfolk, Virginia. As a COMCAM photographer he has traveled to 15 countries documenting humanitarian and combat missions, including his last deployment, embedded with the Army working in northern Iraq. King has two sons and a wonderful wife, and currently resides in Worcester.
